National ladies golf team member Madina Iddi will have to wait for another chance to try to win the Uganda Open Ladies Golf Championship after managing a third overall finish at this year's edition, which climaxed at the Kitante Golf Club, Kampala, Uganda on Sunday.
Madina settled as second runner-up after losing to Ugandan second-placed Irene Nakalembe on count-back after the pair tied on 236 gross over the 54 holes event. The duo finished six shots behind host golfer Flavia Namakula, who successful sealed a 5th Uganda Open crown.
