Uganda: Do Journalists Have the Appetite to Report After a Luxurious Boat Ride?

I was irritated when a sarcastic correspondent called me more than a year or so, ago. When I told him I was in town, he asked if I 'feared water.' When I wondered why, he said he expected all media people worth their salt to be on Lake Victoria having fun, enjoying a boat ride offered by a rich man.

I knew where he was coming from and where he was going. The issue of news makers being too close for comfort with journalists is a concern to many.
