Mauritius to Serve As Role Model Regarding International Humanitarian Law

Mauritius can serve as role model for other countries for its involvement with regards to the issues of International Humanitarian Law (IHL) vis-à-vis the United Nations as well as in the implementation of the IHL.

The Head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Ms Perrine Louart, made this statement yesterday following a courtesy visit by her delegation on the Prime Minister, Sir Anerood Jugnauth, at the New Treasury Building in Port Louis.
