Salima — Association for the Physically Disabled people in Malawi (APDM) Monday launched a one-year access to water, sanitation and hygiene (Wash) project in salima aimed at ensuring disabled people are able to utilize the facilities.
APDM Chairperson Charles Khaula said there was need to shorten distances between water and also constructing disability friendly water and sanitation point sources saying these are some of the major problems physically disabled people face.
