Namibia: Roads Authority Denies Suspending Projects

THE Roads Authority's chief executive officer Conrad Lutombi on Friday denied that they were suspending some road projects after failing to pay contractors, and said work was continuing according to plan.

Lutombi called a press conference on Friday to clarify the status of roads projects following reports that some of them, in particular the Windhoek- Hosea Kutako International Airport road phase one and the Windhoek- Okahandja section B were being suspended until next year.
