Zimbabwe is set to go ahead with the introduction of bond notes despite strong resistance from citizens. The country's Central Bank says the printed bills are ready and will go into circulation on Nov. 30.
Crippling cash shortages surfaced in the first quarter of 2016 and in May the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe announced the introduction of bond notes as a corrective measure.
