Rwanda: Low Activity at the Local Exchange

There was low activity at the bourse yesterday, with only a few hundred shares at Bank of Kigali and Bralirwa counters changing hands, the Rwanda Stock Exchange (RSE) daily market report for Thursday indicates. The bond market was quiet. During yesterday's trading session, Bank of Kigali counter closed at Rwf237, a drop from Rwf238 on Wednesday.

Both Rwanda Share Index and All Share Index went down 0.25 and 0.03 points to close at 121.16 and 127.41 points, respectively, as a result of the fall. The BK counter recorded Rwf165,900 total turnover from 700 shares traded in two deals, Bralirwa was unchanged at Rwf140. The beverages firm recorded a total turnover of Rwf98,000 from 700 shares traded in one deal.
