Nigeria: 'UN to Find Lasting Solution to Nigeria's Environmental Problems'

The Head of the Avian Species Team, Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals (CMS), Borja Heredia, has stated the readiness of the United Nations (UN) in finding lasting solution to issues of the environment in Nigeria.

Heredia stated this in Abuja when he led a five-man delegation on a courtesy visit to the Ministry of Environment recently. He also noted that the UN was working under the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to find a lasting solution to sustainable land management and further support countries implementing sustainable land use at the national level.
