Somalia: 2 Journalists Injured in Mogadishu Restaurant Attack

A suicide bombing at the Village Restaurant in Mogadishu has injured four people including two journalists The journalists have been identified as Dahir Isse and Abdulkadir Sheikh both working for Radio Kulmiye .

The Thursday morning attack also injured two civilians who have been hospitalised with injuries The two journalist are said to be safe and out of danger when we went to press This is not the first time the Village restaurant has been attacked and journalists targetted. In 2012 Alshabaab militant group killed four journalists Somali journalists have fell victims to the violent in the horn of Africa country. In 2016 alone two journalists have been killed.
