Somalia: Mogadishu Car Bombing Kills Port Staff

A man who police identify as a staff at the Mogadishu Port has been killed when his car exploded at a security checkpoint in Shibis district Mogadishu, police have told Radio Dalsan

According to the police a remote controlled bomb had been fixed in the car and the driver may not have been aware of it Police believe those who exploded the bomb had been hiding near the checkpoint A police officer manning the checkpoint was wounded in the explosion
