Sudan: Assembly Leadership Sets up Two Committees to Amend Article and Study Cabinet Reports

Khartoum — The National Assembly leadership has formed a committee chaired by Dr. Badriya Suleiman to look into some of the Assembly's Article. Another committee chaired by, Omer Abdul Rahim Al-Sheikh was set up to study the situation of the implementation of the decisions taken by the cabinet.

The committee includes the chairpersons of Government and Administration, Economic and Social Sectors. Speaker of the National Assembly, Prof. Ibrahim Ahmed Omer has directed the Heads of the Permanent Committees to study the draft bills which were not reviewed by the Assembly during the past period.
