Tormin, a mine on the West Coast, is the applicant in a court case starting in the Western Cape High Court on Monday 20 February.

The Department of Environmental Affairs has been attempting to hold Tormin criminally responsible for transgressing environmental laws. Tormin's actions are alleged to have caused the collapse of a cliff.
