The Minister of Police Nkosinathi Nhleko has described the late human rights Judge Essa Moosa who was the Head of the Office of the DPCI Judge, as "a remarkable jurist, statesman and son of the soil who lead from the front with courage and a great sense of integrity."
Judge Moosa who died at his home in Cape Town on Saturday, led the oversight body for the Directorate of Priority Crime Investigation, commonly known as the HAWKS. He was laid to rest in Rondebosch, Cape Town yesterday evening.
