The Acting Chairman of Jaiz Zakat and Waqf Trust Fund, Alhaji Umaru Abdul Mutallab, has said the Fund doled out N41million to poor Nigerians to empower them economically and reduce poverty in the country.
Alhaji Mutallab spoke in Abuja yesterday at the Zakat distribution ceremony organised by the Fund where about N3.5m was given to some poor residents of the federal capital city.
