THE Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA)'s push for fiscalisation has faced resistance from local companies, amid revelations that nearly 70 percent or two thirds of firms registered for value added tax (VAT) have failed to comply with the government directive, the Financial Gazette's Companies & Markets (C&M) can reveal.
This undermines the tax collector's ability to monitor vatiable transactions in real time.
