One would think the inaugural Francophone Film festival Kampala would be just about Europe, and France in particular, but the festival ended up a West African francophone countries' affair.
Showcasing films mostly done in French from Monday to Saturday last week at Alliance Francaise, the festival became a cocktail of cultures thanks to the selection of animation, comedy, drama and documentary films from France, West Africa and Belgium, among others.
