Nigeria: EFCC Arraigns LG Councilor Over Double Salary

Yola — The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arraigned a member of Yola North Local Government Legislative Council before the Yola Division of the Federal High Court for alleged collection of salary from his previous job while serving as councilor.

Suleiman Ibrahim who is representing Limawa Ward in Yola metropolis was arraigned before Justice Bilkisu yesterday on the one-count charge of contravening Section 1 Sub section 1 Paragraph (a) of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Fraud Related Offenses Act 2006.
