The United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) is appealing for financial assistance and support as thousands of South Sudanese refugees continue to pour into Uganda.
Uganda is already hosting more than 800,000 refugees, majority of whom arrived since July last year. However, given the present rate of arrivals, the figure could surpass one million by the middle of 2017, Filippo Grandi, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees has warned.
