Nigeria: Obasanjo's Ex-Wife Alleges Threat to Life Over Son's Wedding

Following a suit instituted by Mrs. Taiwo Obasanjo, ex-wife of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, to stop her son's wedding, she has alleged that certain persons have been detailed to assassinate her.

Mrs. Obasanjo, in a petition to the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, dated April 4, 2017, alleged that those contracted to kill her included her twin brother, Chief Kenny Martins, her future daughter-in-law, Tope Adebutu and the bride-to-be's mother, Ms. Rosemary Dacosta.
