Liberia: Vision Christian Academy Embarks On Project

Vision Christian Academy, a junior high school in Weala, Margibi County has embarked on a modern laboratory, library and auditorium project. Speaking to reporters recently during a fund raising rally organized by the school to solicit financial support for the project, the coordinator of the school Rev. Uriah Cole Jaimah said, it is meant to enhance the learning capacity of students in Weala and its environs.

He said the facility will be built and named in honor of Speaker J. Emmanuel Nuquay for his numerous contributions to humanity, especially the student community. He said when constructed, the library will be put at the disposal of all students in the district, the county and country at large, there is no public library in Weala.

He disclosed that engineer has not made any estimate for the project to enable him state actual financial cost attached. Meanwhile, Speaker Nuquay has thanked the administration of the school for thinking in a direction that recognizes his efforts, and made an initial contributing of 200 bags of cement with a promise to provide whatever it requires to execute the project fully. Several other prominent sons and daughters of the district, including parents made contributions during the fund raising program.
