Nigeria: CBN Suspends Nationwide Cashless Policy, Creates Fx Window for Investors, Exporters

Washington,DC — The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has once again suspended the nation-wide implementation of the cashless policy which commenced this month.

The CBN which disclosed this in a circular titled: "Re: Circular on National Implementation of the Cashless Policy," dated April 20, 2017, a copy of which it posted on its website yesterday, did not give any reason for its abrupt decision.
