Sudan: Al-Basher - Partial Lifting of US Sanctions Opens Door for Investments

Doha — President of the Republic, Field Marshal, Omer Al-Basher has underlined that the partial lifting of the US sanctions imposed on the country opened the door for the influxes of foreign investments in Sudan.

The president, addressing the members of Sudanese embassy, in Qatar, reviewed the improvement of Sudan external relations, the economic situation and investment in the country.

He lauded Qatar for supporting Sudan and peace efforts in Darfur.
