Nigeria: Ayade Orders Commissioners, Aides to Wear Only 'Made in Calabar' Clothes

Calabar — Cross River State Governor Ben Ayade has directed all his commissioners and over 2000 special advisers and personal assistants to wear only clothes made from the Calabar Garment Factory.

He said "By the close of next month, anything I put on my body will be made from Cross River Garment Factory. That is my sincere commitment to the state and for the 3,000 young people working in the factory."

He gave the order in his office in Calabar when he was presented with some samples of finished products from the factory which his government established upon assumption of office two years ago.

He said soon the Cross River Garment factory will be the main fashion industry and company to beat.
