South Africa: Durban Family Injured After 'Parcel' Explodes

Three family members sustained serious injuries after a parcel they opened exploded on Friday, KwaZulu-Natal police said.

The family were in their house in Essenwood, Durban when they received the parcel, Captain Nqobile Gwala said.

She said the three people were taken to a hospital.

The explosives unit and Berea SAPS are still at the scene.
