Following the swift response of Kuilsrivier police, a 29-year-old female and a 27-year-old male are due to appear in Blue Downs court on Thursday, 15 June 2017, for armed robbery and the possession of presumed stolen property. On Tuesday, 13 June 2017, the suspects started their morning by robbing commuters in Kuilsrivier, armed with two gas pistols. After two separate complaints were received where commuters were robbed of personal effects, the police started their search of the area based on the description of the vehicle. Shortly afterwards they were apprehended and a stolen cellular telephone was found in their possession.
