Sudan: North Darfur Gold Mine Collapses - One Dead, Three Injured

Mellit — One miner died and three others were wounded when a private gold well in Mellit in North Darfur state caved in on Saturday.

Speaking from the area of Umajaj in Mellit, a witness reported that the four miners were inside when the well suddenly collapsed.

Policemen transferred the wounded and the body to the El Fasher Teaching Hospital.
