Dynamos midfielder Denver Mukamba on Tuesday signed a two -year contract extension after the initial one -year deal had expired at the end of last month.
The Glamour Boys, through their treasurer Webster Marechera, said they were happy to have Mukamba for another two years.
"He (Mukamba) is one of the best players for us and, as a club, we are happy to have him for the next two years," said Marechera.
"He has shown his loyalty to the club. He told us that he wants to continue playing for Dynamos because it's the team that put him in the lime light.
"We hope to have a good season with him."
Mukamba has been a huge influence in Dynamos' title charge this season, scoring crucial goals as well as providing assists.
The Glamour Boys beat Bantu Rovers 2-0 last week on Friday night with Mukamba scoring one of the goals that lifted them to the top of the league table for the first time this season.
The lead proved temporary though as Ngezi Platinum went on to beat FC Platinum 2-1 at the Baobab to reclaim top place.
Dynamos giants usually take their time to extend deals with their players and often lose some of their stars to rivals with deeper pockets.
However, with their season looking promising, the Harare giants were pro-active this time around, a sign that the club hierarchy is determined to ensure they wrestle the championship from bitter rivals Caps United.
