Morocco: HRH Princess Lalla Meryem Takes Part in Tribute Ceremony to Simone Veil in Paris

Paris — HRH Princess Lalla Meryem took part on Wednesday morning in Paris in the national tribute ceremony to Simone Veil, a towering figure in French politics who died last Friday at the age of 89.

Simone Veil, a women's rights icon, was a two-time Cabinet minister.

She served as Minister of Health under Valéry Giscard d'Estaing, President of the European Parliament and member of the Constitutional Council of France.
