Liberia: Last Two Semi Finalists to Be Decided

Following the qualification of LISCR FC to the Semi final of the 2016 FA Cup, the last two semi finalists of the competition will be decided today at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium when title holders, Monrovia Club Breweries take on Samira FC, while Keitrace FC will lock horns with Nimba United.

The intriguing clash between the title holders, MC Breweries and third division opponents, Samira FC ended in a two-all draw after the holders came from two goals down to secure the draw in the First leg.

The result, if remain as it is, after today's clash, will see the title holders advancing to the semi final after scoring two away goals.

Despite the defensive style of play being used by the Breweries, the holders were unable to prevent the Scoring Scorpions from penetrating their defense to get a curtain raiser.

Breweries that have not performed up to expectation in attacks were able to pull out of their defense and attacked the Scoring Scorpions to get the much anticipated equalizer to save their day.

In the other quarter final match, after securing a narrow 1-0 win over Keitrace FC in the First leg, Nimba United will be hoping to repeat such score or secure a draw that see them advancing to the semi final of the competition.

a lone goal from midfielder Darlington Suwo who got a hat trick against IE during last weekend fixture, was enough to give the "Mountaineers" (Nimba United) a crucial away victory against their first division counterparts.

Both N.United and Keitrace who are in the fight for top positions in the championship, with three games to go, are no longer championship contenders and are only focus FA Cup.

After the results of today's last two matches a draw will be held for the paring of the last four teams in this year's FA Cup.

ELWA United and LISCR are the first two semi finalists as they await the next two teams.
