Nigeria: Jonathan Salutes Judiciary, Urges Genuine Reconciliation

Former President Goodluck Jonathan has lauded the judiciary for effectively put to an end the leadership crisis which had factionalised the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) into two groups. He was reacting yesterday to the judgment by the Supreme which affirmed the leadership of the Senator Ahmed Makarfi-led caretaker committee.

In a post on his twitter handle, GEJonathan, he urged party members who had defected to return, noting that it was time for a genuine reconciliatory process.
