Nigerian Air Force Bauchi Command Gets New AOC

Bauchi — A new Air Officer Commanding (AOC) has been appointed for the Nigerian Air Force Special Operations Command, Bauchi. He is Air Vice Marshal Saddiq Isma'ila Kaita.

Kaita took over from Air Vice Marshal Sani Ahmed who was deployed to the Nigerian Air Force headquarters, Abuja.

The new AOC was before his deployment to Bauchi the DOM of the Nigerian Air Force headquarters.

He held various staff and command posts in various places.

He attended Kings College Lagos and Government College Katsina and later admitted into the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) 34 Regular course in June 1983 and passed out in December 1986 as a pilot officer.

Speaking during the handing over ceremony, the outgoing AOC, AVM Sani Ahmed said much was achieved during his stay at the Air Force formation in Bauchi.

On his part, the incoming AOC promised to build on the legacies of the outgoing AOC.
