Incumbent President Uhuru Kenyatta has taken a significant lead in Kenya's tense elections, according to early results. Opposition leader Raila Odinga has already rejected the emerging tally, calling it "fake."
With more than 10 million ballots counted, Uhuru Kenyatta was officially leading with 55 percent of the vote against his challenger and longtime opposition leader Raila Odinga's 44 percent, according to results released early Wednesday by the electoral commission (IEBC).
