Africa: Ninth Brics Summit and Dialogue Between Emerging Market Economies and Developing Countries and Related Events to Be Held in Xiamen, Fujian

Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lu Kang announces:

The 9th BRICS Summit will be held in Xiamen, Fujian Province from September 3 to 5 under the theme of "Stronger Partnership for a Brighter Future". On the sidelines, the Dialogue between Emerging Market Economies and Developing Countries will be held under the theme of "Promoting Mutually Beneficial Cooperation for Common Development". President Xi Jinping will host the Summit and Dialogue and attend related events including the opening ceremony of the BRICS Business Forum.
