Nigeria: My Ambition Won't Stop APC From Unseating Okowa -Emerhor

Ughelli — THE 2015 governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC, in Delta State, Olorogun O'tega Emerhor, has reassured members of the party that in 2019, his political ambition will not stop the party from unseating Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Emerhor, who addressed party members at Evwereni, Ughelli North Local Government Area of the state, during the inauguration of executives of the Mainstream Delta APC, a pressure group within the party, also denied claims that he had been picked as the party's governorship candidate ahead of the 2019 governorship election, saying "Olorogun Emerhor is not a governorship candidate yet."

His words: "My ambition cannot stop us from going to Asaba. If the governor thinks we are senseless, he is wrong.

"When it comes to this matter, there is no Ijaw, Urhobo, Ibo, Isoko or Itsekiri man, but only an APC and we must drive Okowa out of Government House and that is what we want to do."
