Gambia: Uprising Slap Ebbeh Gi in Sk East Nawetan

Uprising FC on Monday 18 September 2017 beat Ebbeh Gi FC 2-0 in the ongoing Serrekunda East Sport Development Organisation nawetan competition, played at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium.

Uprising FC took charge of affairs mid-way into the match, when Omar Marong fired home the opener from a long-rang strike in the 33rd minute of the game.

Uprising FC could have made the best use of their possession, as Ebbeh Gi FC lose concentration allowing them to control the midfield, thus creating some goal scoring opportunities.

Tumani Beyai doubled the lead in the 57th minute of the game from a smooth strike to inspire uprising to a convincing win in the 3pm kick-off.

On the same day, Hand Over FC drew 0-0 with United Stars in the 5pm encounter.
