Nigeria: Court Declares Arrest of Evans' Brother-in-Law Invalid

As Suspected kidnap kingpin, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike. a. k.a Evans, faces second arraignment at an Igbosere High Court on Lagos Island amid watertight security Justice Mohammed Idris has declared the declared the arrest, detention by the police of Mr. Okwuchukwu Obiechina, Evans' brother-in-law, invalid.

Justice Mohammed Idris asked the police release Evans' brother-in-law unconditionally and awarded him N2m damages.
