Liberia: ALP Stalwarts Join UP Campaign Caravan

As the campaign for the 2017 runoff election gets heated, the strategic thinkers of the All Liberian Party (ALP) has pledged its unwavering support to the presidential bid of Unity Party candidate and Vice President Joseph N. Boakai in the ensuing runoff election.

Speaking on behalf of the group at the Unity Party campaign headquarters in Monrovia, Joseph Bush Trinity, Emmanuel Sayon, Varney Taweh said the decision to support Vice President Joseph N. Boakai steamed from his competence and exceptional leadership ability to lead Liberia to sustained growth and development.

Joseph Bush Trinity said "we strongly believe that Vice President Joseph N. Boakai is the right person to be our next President. He has the intellectual competence, economic ideas, and leadership abilities that this country son desperately needs if we are to succeed in rebuilding this country for all Liberians."

"We cannot sit and see our country be pulled backward by some intellectual buffoon. Let us not be fooled by these so called saviors of our nation because they present no real ideals that will bring change this country for the better, they are nothing more than old wine in new bottle and we must reject their ideas," he said.

He said "I called on members of the ALP wherever you may be in this country to galvanize and support the candidacy of VP Boakai. If we love Liberia, think Liberia, and want to really build Liberia, and then let us vote Joseph N. Boakai on November 7, 2017 as our next President."

"My team will do everything we can in our power over the next two weeks to mobilize our people all over this country, we will not sleep, we will not rest, we will not waiver until our goal is accomplished. Those structures we have built across the country will be utilized; will be empowered, and unleashed during these coming days," he said.
