Angola: 1º De Agosto Signs American Ahead of FIBA Women's Cup

Luanda — Angola's 1º de Agosto has signed American power forward Alicia Devaughn (26), ahead of FIBA Africa Clubs Champions Cup from 10-19 November in Luanda.

This was announced Wednesday in Luanda by the club's director, Joaquim Gomes "Kicas".

According to Joaquim Gomes, the 1,91-metre player will add quality to the team and reduce flaws in its bid to win the competition.

A Maryland University graduate, Alicia Devaughn is coming from the Spanish championship, after she was based in France.
