Kenya: EACC Directs State and Public Officers to Declare Their Wealth

Nairobi — The Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission (EACC) has directed State and Public officers to declare their income, assets and liabilities before the end of the year.

The Commission's Chief Executive Officer Halakhe Waqo stated that according to Section 26 of the Public Officer Ethics Act, each state or public officer is required once every two years submit their declarations and that of their spouses and dependent children under 18 years.
