South Africa: Police in Tzaneen Conduct Outreach Campaign

The SAPS Tzaneen Cluster have today embarked on the awareness campaign at Nwamitwa Tribal Office in Letsitele Policing area outside Tzaneen.

The Campaign was led by the Cluster Commander, Major General Maggy Mathebula in partnership with the Tzaneen Cluster CPF Board, Hosi Nwamitwa, Headmen, the Greater Tzaneen Municipality, CPF sub-forums, CSF and members of the Community.

The Purpose of this campaign was part of the build-up activities towards the 16 Days of Activism on No Violence Against Woman and Children, focusing on the prevention of any woman and child abuse incidents including the sexual offences.

Other crimes which were dealt with were rapes, trio crimes and other serious and violent crimes including the prevention of stokvel robberies.

Questions were posed and answered accordingly.
