Tanzania: Former PCCB Accountant On the Run for 'Corruptly' Amassing Wealth

The Prevention and Combating Corruption Bureau (PCCB) has launched a manhunt and dangled a 10m/- bounty for its former employee suspected to have amassed wealth corruptly.

The anti-graft body has announced that 10m/- reward will be given to anyone who will provide vital information that will lead to the arrest of Mr Godfrey Gugai, who served as an accountant at the PCCB headquarters in Dar Salaam.

Mr Gugai disappeared as investigations over his wealth, including two high-rise buildings, five houses and several plots, were ongoing.
