South Africa: Creating a 'Random Cut-Off Time' for Sexual Assault Victims Is Irrational - Frankel 8 Lawyer

South Africa should never have a situation where perpetrators of sexual offences do not have their day in court because of provisions in the law, the lawyer for the Frankel 8 argued in the Constitutional Court on Tuesday.

"To create a random cut-off time for victims of sexual assault when there is so much evidence to show... is irrational," said Advocate Anton Katz SC.
