Nigeria: Dangote Commissions U.S.$500 Million Congo Plant On Thursday

Dangote Cement will on Thursday in Congo commission its 1.5 million metric tonnes per annum capacity Cement Plant valued at 500 million dollars, the company said in a statement on Monday.

The plant, described as the largest in Congo, rolled out its first bag of cement on August 7, and is expected to create about 1000 direct and indirect jobs.
