Uganda Launches Online Platform to Promote Tourism

Kampala — Dei Group of Companies International Ltd under Dei Technologies Ltd has launched an online social networking platform Dei Places where people can post photos and comments about their places free of charge.

According to Mathias Magoola the Dei Group of Companies Managing Director this is a tool that can be easily utilized to market Uganda's tourism potential.

"We have created this tool for people loving fun as well as creating jobs for a number of youths who love social networking," said Magoola in Kampala.

He called upon government, the Ministry of Tourism and Uganda Tourism Board to use Dei Places to market Uganda's tourism.

Moses Matovu of Dei Technologies said Dei Places is about promoting places.
