Zimbabwe: Gunshots and Fire At Chuhuri's Harare Home

Harare — Gun shots were reportedly heard as a fire broke out at ZRP Commissioner General Augustine Chihuri's Greystone Park home on Wednesday afternoon.

Unconfirmed reports indicated that one of Chihuri's bedrooms caught fire under unclear circumstances resulting in the fire-brigade attending the scene.

The road leading to the property was immediately sealed off with a military armoured personal carrier seen parked at the gate. An army helicopter was also hovering over the area.

Sources suggested that a police officer was caught stealing at the property and fired at colleagues, resulting back-up being summoned.
