Nigeria: Woman Who Sold Her Twins for N350,000 Remanded in Prison in Katsina State

A thirty-year-old woman, Salima Lawal, who was arrested by the police for allegedly attempting to sell her twins for N350,000, has been remanded in prison custody on the orders of Katsina Senior Magistrate Court 1.

Lawal, who hails from Mararabar Kankara, in Malumfashi Local Council of the state, was arraigned before the court on Monday for charges relating to buying and selling of minors, contrary to Section 278 of Penal Code.
