On January 22 Liberia will be the focus of international attention and at the same time be captured on the front pages of global leading newspapers and in the headlines of top television and radio stations across the globe when power shall peacefully be transferred from one elected leader to another, something that hasn't been done in Liberia in seven decades of the nation's past.
But what will be the focus of the president-elect, Mr. George Weah's foreign policy and international relations agenda? Will he stick with the outgoing president, Madam Johnson-Sirleaf's policy or changed course?
