Nigeria: EFCC Asks Court to Send Metuh to Jail

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has told Justice Okon Abang of a Federal High Court, Abuja, to return former publicity secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Olisa Metuh to prison over his non-appearance in court for trial.

The former PDP spokesman and his company, Destra Investments Limited, are standing trial before the court on seven counts, including receiving fraudulently the sum of N400million from the Office of the National Security Adviser in 2014.
