Abuja — The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) on Tuesday said it does not plan to spend N3.85 billion to repair or replace a number of electricity transmission facilities that were claimed to have been burnt and could result to continued power failure in Nigeria.
It also said claims that the transmission facilities, numbering seven, were burnt down completely in the last nine months since its interim management team led by Mr. Usman Mohammed, took over and would be needing that amount to fix were untrue.
