Liberia: Message to the President

document

Your Excellency:

As you said in your mind-moving inaugural address on January 22 that you were humbled for the trust and confidence Liberians reposed in you by your election, we also count it an honor to thank you for your ascendancy to the highest office of the land. Decades and centuries will not ignore the glamor, euphoria and oneness of purpose that occasioned your induction ceremony. Truly, it was historic and a real outpouring of fathomless admiration the people of Liberia, regardless of class, have for you. History will also account that you are the first President to come to office with an awe-inspiring support and appreciation of the entire citizenry. The entire nation drenched into fervency, some even sobbed in joy, as you took the oath of office, promising to support, defend, protect and uphold the Constitution of Liberia. What this tells is "to whom much is given, much is expected."
